One of the most ignored locations of staging is the closet. If the closet still looks packed, get rid of more.

Deal Before and After Photos

Have owners pack whatever they do not utilize daily and put in storage or in the garage. It neutralizes the home and permits buyers to envision their household living there. It creates a sense of tidiness and order by having tidy counter tops, sparsely decorated walls and very little furniture. I offer sellers before and after photos of other staged homes and advise them that this is how model homes offer.
